Last week, Executive Director Lee Ann Kim and I visited the KSDS studios to chat with Dave Drexler on his show Inside Art. Check out our 19-minute session, during which we talked about the origins of SDAFF, recent transformations in Asian cinema, and some highlights of this year’s festival.

And earlier this week, I swung by the KPBS studio to discuss film festivals with Midday Edition host Maureen Cavanaugh and Mona Mukherjea-Gehrig, director of the German Currents film series in San Diego. Check out the audio and news story here.
